Welcome to our website, on which we aim to tell you about our church and community here in Winchester. Please read and enjoy our pages.
Our church has its foundation in the Methodist traditions and is one of fifteen churches in the Winchester Eastleigh and Romsey Circuit.
However, we have strong ecumenical links with the other churches serving the northern part of Winchester and seek to serve the whole community in which we are located.
We seek to be a loving, serving, worshipping and witnessing community of Christians. We believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and recognise both the work and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Watch our Services Online
Our services are live-streamed (from Good Friday, 2nd April, and Sundays thereafter) and a recorded version is retained on our YouTube Channel.
|Our Mission and Our Vision
Our mission is:
Loving God, Loving Others, Loving the World.
Our vision is:
A thriving church, an asset to the community, a sign of hope for all.
Current Long-term Projects
The church is pursuing an inspirational five year plan which supports its mission objectives and builds on existing work to enhance its offerings to the local community. The principal projects include:
- Identifying, researching and discovering unmet local need.
- Developing our ability to share our faith with those who haven't heard.
- Improving the prayer life of the church.
- Nurturing, promoting and supporting small hospitable groups of people who will explore things of faith and grow spitiually.
- Ensuring that the church building is improved to support the above plans.
The church reopened on 6th September 2020 after a period of almost six months closure due to the restrictions imposed for protection from Covid-19. With the new lock-down commencing on 5th November the church closed again but then re-opened on 6th December and closed just before Christmas. Replacement video recorded services have been available every week since September on our YouTube channel. There is one service per week on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and there are no evening services. Details of the services can be found in the Calendar on this website. However until the restrictions due to Covid-19 are relaxed or removed 'church' will not be the same as before the lock-down. Details of how it will be different can be found on the Information page.
Starting on Good Friday at 10:00 a.m. but normally on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. services will once again be held in the church building. They will also be live-streamed on our YouTube channel.
The followng church groups are making plans for returning to normal activities but each needs to work out what is both safe and permitted before doing so. To obtain further information use the appropriate contact facility on the Contact Us page.

Since June 2020 the Triangle Pre-School has been operating in the Wesley building. Many controls are in place to safeguard both staff and children from the Coronavirus. Only part of the building is accessible to the Pre-school and only the remainder of the building is available for use by the church.
