Wesley and King's Somborne Methodist Church has recently begun to establish its credentials as an ‘Eco Friendly’ community. We take seriously our commitment as Christians to be active stewards of God’s world.
In 2021 we have surveyed areas of church life and to date have managed to achieve a Bronze Award in a scheme supported by the Methodist Church (and other denominations).
The survey has given us ideas about how we can improve our activities to become more ecologically aware.
We now intend to plan for ways we can develop and improve: our worship and teaching; our premises; our surrounding land; our lifestyle; and our engagement with the wider community.
